Two days ago the Irish Times covered the results of an extensive study into the wellbeing of young Irish people. It did not make pretty reading.
Long story short: Irish teenagers are struggling with their mental health, report feeling “low” in numbers never previously recorded, and show that those reporting high “life satisfaction” has fallen from 66% to 48% since 2018.
