An Independent councillor has claimed that the press like Gript would have a “field day” exposing scandals if local authorities across Ireland were forced to livestream their meetings.
In an interview with Gript this week, Laois Councillor Aisling Moran claimed that politicians frequently get away with scandalous comments behind closed doors, arguing that the public should be able to see public representatives operating in an official capacity.
