A coalition of 24 LGBTQI+ organisations is seeking €50 million in capital funding to build, retrofit, and expand LGBTQI+ community centres across Ireland.
The combined pre-Budget submission, which is the first of its kind, argues that decades of “historic underinvestment” have left large parts of the country without any LGBTQI+ infrastructure, particularly outside major cities, and says Budget 2027 is the moment to correct that gap.
