The adventures of asylum seeker Ellie Tayanjana Kisyombe in the Lollipop Lane that is the Irish state took another turn last week when she pleaded guilty to assaulting her co-worker, Svitlana Voloshchuk.
The woman Kisyombe assaulted is a 46-year-old mother of three, who came to Ireland from Ukraine more than 20 years ago and has Irish citizenship.
