Ireland is in for a sunny weekend as Met Éireann forecasts temperatures between 22°C

 and  23°C in some places.

Tomorrow is forecast to be mostly dry with “good sunny spells” and the possibility of some light rain or drizzle. Highs of 15 to 19 are expected over the northern half of the country while conditions further south will be warmer with highs of 19°C to 23°C forecast.

Friday daytime is expected to be dry with good spells of sunshine. Highest temperatures of 18 to 22 degrees generally, slightly cooler near coasts. Winds will be light easterly or variable.

Evening temperatures are forecast not to fall below 6 to 11 degrees with  light easterly or variable breezes, falling calm at times.

For Saturday and Sunday “current indicators suggest” that it will continue  to be predominately dry over the weekend with good sunny spells at times. “Some cloudier conditions will develop at times with the chance of isolated spots of light rain or drizzle”.
