Fianna Fáil MEP’s migration article slammed as “elitist nonsense”

An Irish government MEP’s recent immigration article was “pompous” and “condescending” towards those with “legitimate concerns” about immigration, a TD has claimed.

The article in question was entitled “Several false narratives surround migration and asylum seeking – here are some facts,” and was written by Fianna Fáil MEP Barry Andrews. The piece was published in the Journal.ie on Saturday.
