Dr. Anthony Fauci, who is the Chief Medical Advisor to the US President, has admitted that “you use lockdowns to get people vaccinated.”
The comments were made this week during an MSNBC interview on the ongoing severe Covid lockdown in the Chinese city of Shanghai.

Fauci was asked how concerning the Shanghai situation is. He replied that China had “a number of problems,” including the fact that it had “the strictest lockdown that you’d never be able to implement in the United States.”

Fauci said that such strict lockdowns did prevent the spread of infection. He also said that he believed the Chinese’ claim that they were doing better than anybody else at the start of the pandemic.
“But lockdown has its consequences,” he said.
“You use lockdowns to get people vaccinated,” he said.
“So that when you open up you won’t have a surge of infections, because you’re dealing with an immunologically naive population to the virus. Because they’ve not really been exposed because of the lockdown.”
Notably, it’s been known and admitted for at least a year now that the Covid-19 vaccine does not prevent the spread of the infection.
