This morning, from the reporting of Adrian Weckler at the Indo, came bad news for those who bought electric cars on the promise that not only were they cleaner and greener, they’d be cheaper too.
The price of refuelling en route has been creeping up for some time now, but electric vehicles have long been sold as a better alternative to smelly diesel cars and expensive petrol options, with much focus on the soaring cost at the petrol pumps for fossil-fuel powered cars as motorists endure the extortionate cost of the wars and the green policies endlessly pushing up prices.
