Donegal is unlike any other Irish constituency in the upcoming general election in a number of ways.
First, there is the sheer size, with which only Mayo and Cavan-Monaghan can compare. There is almost 5,000 square kilometres for candidates to cover, and knocking on every door in the constituency in three weeks simply isn’t practical.
