The Government initially allocated a total of €10 million just for the design of a number of IPAS prefabs on State-owned lands, not including their construction.
A notice on the Irish State’s official e-tender website earlier this month called for an “Architect Led Integrated Design Team Services” for the delivery of several prefab units, which are “primarily for International Protection applicants or emergency accommodation on State Lands.”
