Controversial ‘unconscious bias’ training has been made available to Government employees, which tells participants that they act on biases “all the time” that result in “prejudiced” and “inaccurate” decisions and encourages them to talk to others about bias.
Staff are told that unconscious bias “refers to a bias that we are unaware of and which happens outside of our control”.
