In some schools in Ireland, being “gay” or “non-binary” is seen as “cool”, while being “straight” can be perceived as “boring or “negative”, a senior BelongTo staffer has said.
The remarks were made this week in a private training session organised by State-funded LGBT activist NGO BelongTo, which does extensive work in schools.
