According to the latest figures from the Department of Housing, Ireland has achieved a new record – but not the kind you’d want to excitedly tell Guinness about.
As of November of 2023, Ireland is now officially home to a record-breaking 13,514 homeless people, which is an increase of 335 from the previous month. In a particularly tragic development, 4,105 of these homeless people are children.
