Yesterday the British Prime Minister Andy Burnham humiliated Sinn Féin on its own patch. On his first visit to Belfast as PM he told reporters that a border poll is “off the table.”
Cue faux outrage. Sinn Féin reacted with anger and basically accused ‘Comrade’ Burnham of casting aside the Good Friday Agreement (GFA) and denying the right of the Irish people to decide whether they wanted a united Ireland.
