Statistics provided to independent Councillor Aidan Mullins by Laois Council show that the proportion of non-national households on its social housing list are significantly higher than those contained in the Housing Agency report that is publicly available.
The Housing Agency document, Summary of Social Housing Assessments 2025, contains tables, on page 73 and 74, for each of the local authority areas in the state showing the numbers of qualified households on their waiting lists.
