Opposition parties planning to protest US President Donald Trump’s upcoming visit to Ireland are “serial objectors” who will “never be in government”, an Independent Ireland councillor has claimed.
Speaking to Gript this week, Cavan Councillor Shane P. O’Reilly slammed opposition parties intending to boycott the visit, arguing that politicians must show respect for the presidency.
