Migration Minister of State Colm Brophy said he is “pleased” to welcome a report which recommends that the State regularise Roma people living illegally in Ireland.
In a press release published in February announcing the publication of the first annual report of the Special Rapporteur for Racism and Racial Equality the Minister said the report presented an opportunity to reaffirm the Government’s “unequivocal commitment” to combatting racism.
