Europe wants to be the world’s first “AI continent”, EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has insisted.
The claim comes as the bloc announced it would be putting “up to €10 billion in EU and national funding” into a new “AI Gigafactories” project, which is set to build 7 data centres across European member states.
