Deceased Congolese national Yves Sakila was facing theft charges arising from an incident at Dundrum Town Centre, Gript has learned.
Sakila, who died in front of Arnotts department store on Henry Street, Dublin, had a history of theft offences and was restrained outside the store on the 15th of May last.
