The Irish Department of Justice has awarded €100,000 to a school initiative that teaches pupils around the country about the concept of “white privilege” – the idea that all white people have inherent advantages in life purely by virtue of being white.
In a statement today, the Department of Justice announced that 37 NGOs are being supported under the “Ireland Against Racism Fund 2025” to the tune of €1.5 million total – all in an effort to “combat racism and promote racial equality and community cohesion”.
