A teenager has died, and two others have been injured, in a stabbing attack in the Grattan Wood area of Donaghmede in north Dublin.
Dublin Live reports: “The deceased in this incident is now understood to be a teenage juvenile. All understood to be involved in the incident believed to be foreign national juveniles.”
“Those who have been injured have been rushed to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, and a teen has been arrested.”
Gardaí say they are “currently responding to a serious ongoing incident at a residential location in Dublin 13”.
It is believed that a murder inquiry is to be launched by An Garda Síochána.
“An Garda Síochána is currently responding to a serious ongoing incident at a residential location in Dublin 13 today, Wednesday 15th October 2025,” AGS said in a statement.

An Garda Síochána is not looking for any other person in relation to this incident at this time and is following a definite line of enquiry.
The scene has been preserved for a Garda technical examination.
The Offices of the Coroner and the State Pathologist have been notified.
The body will be removed in due course, and a post mortem examination will be carried out.
The results of the post-mortem examination will assist in determining the course of the ongoing investigation.
