The government has revealed its new Cabinet lineup, detailing key appointments and roles for the upcoming term.
Below is a breakdown of the ministerial roles and their new occupants.
Key Cabinet Positions:
Simon Harris (Fine Gael) has been appointed as the Tánaiste, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Minister for Defence.
Paschal Donohoe (Fine Gael) will continue as Minister for Finance.
Jack Chambers (Fianna Fáil) takes on the role of Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform, and Digitalisation, with a mandate to modernise government operations and develop infrastructure.
Helen McEntee (Fine Gael) has been named Minister for Education and Youth.
Darragh O’Brien (Fianna Fáil) assumes the dual role of Minister for Climate, Environment and Energy, and Minister for Transport.
