One of the more bizarre examples of left liberal schizophrenia is that while on the one hand some of them will preach the virtues of “self-government” by the “natives” that they also enjoy claiming that every country under the control of the same lads is a living hell, and therefore no wonder that everyone wants to leave and get a house in Balbriggan.
Nigeria is a good example and yesterday the Times of London reported that the interim Ambassador of Nigeria to Ireland, Ibiyemi Alisha Ajiboye-Roberts, has taken up cudgels on behalf of her own country, which certain people would have you believe is so bad that potentially all of its more than 230,000,000 people (that’s like 40 times as many people as live in the 26 counties) might land up in Balbriggan. (This would solve Olympic and soccer selection issues for evermore.)
