When you think you’ve seen it all, along comes a steed looking for burgers in Supermacs.

“A real life ‘into the west’ moment in Supermac’s Ballinasloe Galway yesterday afternoon,” wrote Danny Darcy who captured the two messers on horseback inside the fast food chain in the West of Ireland town.
All credit to the Supermacs staff who usher the two brave steeds out the door as people pay for their food and the rest of the staff take orders.
While many on social media thought the foray into the chipper was hilarious, others disagreed. “Disgraceful, if that horse kicked a child that might be sitting down with its family on a day out at the fair! No respect, totally lawless, no regard for anyone,” wrote one man.
There were plenty of mentions of ‘Into the West’ and Tayto. Nostalgia abounded.
