A Garda investigation is under way after a 21-year-old man died following an assault near Dublin’s Grafton Street in the early hours of Monday morning.
The man had been stabbed several times on Clarendon Street and was found in a serious condition at around 3am where Gardaí and emergency services attended.
Gardaí said the man was taken to St James’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Several scenes around Grafton Street have been preserved for forensic examination and the Office of the State Pathologist has been informed.
