Irate Italian motorists dragged climate change protesters from a busy Italian motorway in Rome this week.
Footage captured by the Local Team showed furious drivers snatching banners from the protesters who were blocking the city’s main ring-roads, a tactic used by Extinction Rebellion in countries across the world.

Angry motorists also dragged the climate activists – in one instance, apparently by the hair – to the side of the motorway to make room for cars to drive past.
Corriere Dello Sport reports that the climate action was eventually dispersed when police arrived on the scene and arrested protesters.
