US Democrats call for amnesty for 11 million illegal immigrants

11 million illegal immigrants must be given an amnesty to stay in America to boost birthrates, according to the US Democrat Party.

The remarks were made by US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer this week while speaking to journalists.

“Now more than ever, we’re short of workers,” said Schumer.

“We have a population that is not reproducing on its own with the same level that it used to. The only way that we’re going to have a great future in America is if we welcome and embrace immigrants – the dreamers, and all of them.

“Because our ultimate goal is to help the dreamers, but to get a path to citizenship for all 11 million, or however many undocumented there are here.”

While the generally accepted figure for the number of illegal immigrants in America is 11 million, a study conducted by Yale and MIT estimates that the true figure could be as high as 22 million.

Notably, one contributing factor to low birthrates in the US is abortion – a policy that Democrats strongly support – with well over half a million pregnancies being terminated every year in America.

The proposed policy mirrors a similar amnesty which was brought in by the Irish government earlier this year, where tens of thousands of illegal migrants were granted the right to remain in the country, despite violating Irish immigration law.
