A workshop billed for a University College Cork conference later this month is drawing attention amid a wider row over how far gender-inclusive frameworks should shape lactation and maternity care in Ireland.
TransCare 2026, a UCC conference on trans, gender-diverse and intersex-inclusive healthcare, is scheduled to include a session titled “Horizontal Lactation Care: Taking the Power Back to Protect, Promote and Support Human Milk,” delivered by Natalie Boxall and Bex Bainbridge.
