The Circuit Criminal Court has heard how two off-duty members of An Garda Síochána were injured after an unprovoked assault took place when they were heading home after a Christmas staff night out in December 2024.
Judge Orla Crowe heard that on the 14th of December that year, the two officers, Garda Walsh and Garda McAuley, were heading home as they walked through the area of George’s Street Lower and Dame Street in central Dublin.
