Tuath Housing Association has applied to demolish four currently occupied family homes as part of a planning application to Dublin City Council to build 463 apartments and duplexes on a 3.17 hectare site in Ballymun. The proposal is for 190 one-bed, 226 two-bed and 47 three 3-bed units.
The houses to be demolished are numbers 62, 63, 64 and 65 Coultry Gardens. One of the homes is owned by the family who live there, and the others are rented from Dublin City Council. One of the families has been living in their house for 58 years.
