The Irish dancing governing body An Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha (CLRG) has decided that dancers can compete in the gender category they identify with after what it said was “considerable internal and external discussion”.
Clearly enough this means – much like with the GAA – that trans-identified males can now choose to compete against women and girls despite their physical advantages.
