I was slightly surprised to learn that an ‘Out-of-Court Dispute Settlement’ (ODS) body certified by State media regulator Coimisiún na Meán last week was spawned by a UK media monitor heavily criticised from its beginnings for links to the late son of Britain’s most famous fascist, Oswald Mosley.
On Thursday, Coimisiún na Meán announced the certification of Ireland’s second ODS body, Impress Dispute Resolutions (IDR). The first was Appeals Centre Europe, about which I wrote last October.
