On the Government procurement platform, eTenders, the HSE is currently seeking tenders for the provision of research into “the Mental Health of Roma Communities in Ireland,” a contract worth an estimated €70,000, and, in this writer’s estimation, a complete waste of money.
“The research should examine the mental health needs, experiences, and barriers to access for members of the Roma community in Ireland,” the notification description reads.
