The joint statement from His Grace the Roman Catholic Bishop of Killaloe, Fintan Monaghan, and His Lordship the Anglican Bishop of Killaloe, Michael Burrows this week could only reasonably be described as a stark rebuke to those people in Roscrea and elsewhere who have engaged in public protest over the proposed accommodation in their communities of those who have applied to the Irish Government for refugee status.
