TD complains that the government didn’t invest enough in RTÉ

Many people in Ireland are currently enraged by the level of funding our state broadcaster RTÉ is receiving, as demonstrated by the nationwide trend of mass licence fee non-payment in recent months. The organisation is haemorrhaging millions of euros at an alarming rate.

In the wake of the broadcaster’s various financial scandals, involving secret payments to top presenters and outrageously wasteful spending decisions, many people clearly believe that this cowboy organisation has been taking the public for a ride.
