Mayo Pride, the group which found itself in hot water after it gave the Child of Pride a drag makeover, has issued an ‘apology’ over its antics.
The Journal carries the apology today, but it’s really more of a ‘sorry, not sorry’, in my opinion, to Catholics, with the paper backhandedly talking about how Mayo Pride had “received abusive comments” from those who didn’t like the stunt.
