Ozempic, the weight-loss wonder drug, seems to have taken the world by storm in the last year or so. If you’re a woman, chances are, you’ve probably heard of it by now or know somebody who’s on it. You might even be on it yourself, having been enticed by its enchanting appetite-suppressing effects.
The pricey drug, designed for diabetics, is also sometimes prescribed for secondary use for those with complex obesity – and is only available in Ireland for people with type 2 diabetes, and in very limited cases, those with obesity.
