Last week I wrote that 80s Ireland was not the economic dumpster fire we make it out to be. This week, I will argue that it is in fact in this day and age that we are an economic dumpster fire.
Or to be honest, we have never been a dumpster fire nor a roaring success story. Ireland, for the entire century, has continually suffered from the same root problem, and unless we fix it, we will actually become a dumpster fire, for real.
