If I think of a conservative image two things come to mind: the family and an oak tree. The tree has to be quite old, at least over 100 years. It is no coincidence that the tree is the official logo of the Tories in Britain. The symbolism is obvious. Ancient trees are old, they were there before us and they will be there long after we are gone. The ancient oak endures.
So it strikes me as odd that when terrorists with a chainsaw propose cutting down that tree ‘conservatives’ are nowhere to be found or worse, they are cheering on the chainsaw massacre in the name of “progress.” It is some hippy, left-wing, ‘tree hugger’ that is protesting this disgusting attack on nature.
