Leanne Flynn and Warren Donohue are to be honoured by with the Freedom of Dublin City for their brave interventions in the Parnell Square knife attack.
The motion, passed on Monday night, was put forward by Independent Dublin Councillors Malachy Steenson and Gavin Pepper. A separate motion to honour Leanne Flynn, tabled by Sinn Féin, was also passed.
