A Romanian man has avoided jail after he brandished a “large kitchen knife” in the course of an incident close to Dublin’s Port Tunnel on the 9th of August last, contrary to Section 9.1 of the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act.
Georgel Macreanu (38) of Hunter’s Run Clonee, Dublin 15 pleaded guilty in respect of the incident which happened at a branch of Circle K service station.
