The World Cup is just days away and I’m indifferent. Not wanting to be a Debbie Downer about it, but football is for the people and this is a corporate money grab – among many other things.
For starters – Ireland isn’t in it. If it weren’t for that one mistake on that fateful night in Czechia, a 21st century Green Army would have been born on the streets of Guadalajara, Mexico. Locals would be speaking about ‘those crazy Irish’ for generations to come.A great loss for all – plus we would have spent money. Lots of it.
