A man in his late 60s has passed away on Baggot Street Lower in Dublin city centre.
Gardaí reported that they were notified shortly before 11pm last night “following reports of an altercation involving two males.”
One of the individuals fell ill and was transported to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted, and the findings will guide the direction of the investigation, according to Gardaí.
