The State has been granted 16 weeks to await instructions from the Director of Public Prosecutions in respect of a Romanian male who is charged in relation to a number of grab-style thefts which Gardaí allege targeted older women.
This morning Judge Anne Watkins, sitting at Dún Laoghaire District Court, heard that directions have not yet been made available in the matter, and adjourned the case until the 2nd of February 2027.
