Liberal Democrat party leader says a woman can “quite clearly” have a penis

The Leader of the UK’s Liberal Party Sir Ed Davey has said that women can “quite clearly” have a penis.

Speaking on the Leading Britain’s Conversation (LBC) podcast, Davey said that “the vast majority of people will have the same gender as their biological sex, but a small number won’t,”

Asked by host Nick Ferrari if “a woman can have a penis?”, he answered, “Well, quiet clearly,”

Prompted to discuss the issue by a question from a caller Davey said that the issue should be debated with more “compassion” and “maturity”

There’s a small number of people who, actually, they have a tough time. They’re harassed, they’re discriminated against; real, serious mental health issues, and I think we need to debate this…with a bit more maturity and a bit more compassion,” he said

This comes after Labour Party leader Sir Keir Starmer recently indicated that one in a thousand women are born with a penis.

“For 99.9% of women, it is completely biological… and of course they haven’t got a penis,” he told the Sunday Times

Starmer said that, “Some people identify as a different gender to the one they are born with,” claiming that, “”There are still many battles that need to go ahead for women and I don’t think we should roll anything back.”
