A High Court judge has set a punishing timetable for four linked visa appeals brought by Palestinian students, warning that any delay could wipe out their chance of securing postgraduate places in Ireland this autumn.
Mr Justice Anthony Barr said the court “does not live in a vacuum” and was acutely aware, from constant media reporting, that three of the applicants still in Gaza were living in “very considerable peril”.
