The hottest property in UK politics right now is, without a doubt, Nigel Farage. If the opinion polls are to be believed (and in the UK they usually are) then Farage is well on course to make history, smash the Labour and Tory duopoly, and become that country’s Prime Minister after the next election. Were he to do so, it would be a towering historic achievement.
Part of the reason for his ascendancy is, of course, the moribund state of the Tory Party. The Conservatives elected a new leader after the last election. Her name is Kemi something or other.
