Ireland’s media regulator has launched a probe into Facebook-owner Meta over possible breaches of the EU’s online speech regulations.
Coimisiún na Meán confirmed on May 5 that it suspected the US firm may have broken the Digital Services Act via both its Facebook and Instagram platforms, and that it was now investigating the matter with the support of the European Commission.
