Since 2020 nearly 90% of the funding of the Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL) has come from foreign sources. In 2023, the last year for which records are available, roughly 95% of the ICCL’s funding came from sources outside Ireland.
In total the ICCL raised €4,060,689 over the period, but there has not been a single year since 2020 in which foreign funding made up less than 80% of the group’s total funding.
