It’s amazing how much a person’s views can change in just a few years.
A mere two weeks ago, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar was telling the Dáil that it’s “not right” to “connect crime with migration,” after a man of Algerian origin was suspected of stabbing several young children and a woman at a school. Varadkar was quick to chide those who drew any connection between immigration, and emerging trends in crime.
